Up for sale is my 1997 Ford XLT, 4 Wheel Drive, V-6 (4.0L) Extended Cab Pickup. Engine runs strong, smooth, instant start up. Transmission shifts smoothly, like new, no issues. 4WD used rarely and works fine. Has manual lock-out hubs. This truck has been well maintained with regular synthetic oil changes. New front brakes, new glass pack muffler, new rear shocks. There are no known mechanical issues with this truck. There are 4 matching original alloy wheels with a fifth spare that does not match but is close in appearance and is currently mounted on the car (see pics). Alloy wheels look very good -have minor pitting that I have not tried to clean up. Tires are all v good. Currently inspected in Virginia. Body painted recently - original color scheme - metallic dark blue (see pics), with metallic dark grey lower panels. This is the original color scheme, but blue is done in a satin finish. Looks nice - paint job - acrylic urethane, ///is good protection. Overall body looks VG - w/ a few imperfections in the finish here and there. Overall body very straight as seen in the photos and free from ANY major dents. This truck appears to be lifted ....and this is original design from the factory, for this XLT 4WD truck. Everything works as it should, heater, nice CD/radio system, lights etc. No air conditioning was ever installed in this truck. Interior in VG condition overall, with rear fold down seats. This is a very dependable and powerful truck. It was not used commercially. Nice bedliner in excellent shape. This truck is powerful with the optional 4.0 L engine ...yet very economical gas mileage, due to the overdrive gearing. Runs down the road at any speed smoothly with no shimmy, shake or pulling.
