I’ve owned this 1990 Mercedes-Benz 300CE for 22 years, using it as my primary car for the first 10 years and as my 2nd car for the last 12 years. I’m selling because I’ve purchased a new car, and don’t need this as a 3rd vehicle. This Mercedes is a 2-door coup with white exterior and gray leather interior. Automatic transmission, cruise-control, inline 6 cylinder 3.0L engine, sunroof, telescoping steering wheel, A/C, etc. The original MSRP was approx $60K (in 1990 dollars), and the history can be checked using the VIN of WDBEA51D6LB256474. With only 177,604 miles, the car is very reliable. It drives well - the engine runs great, the steering & suspension is tight, it passed emissions last year, and there’s no mechanical issues. As with most older cars, there are some minor cosmetic issues including a tear on driver’s seat, crack in rear window, hard-water spot on trunk. Heater & A/C work well, but won’t redirect to the center vent. While not considered a museum piece, this is a classic car that is solid, reliable and in decent shape. I can provide most service records going back to 1990. Maintenance during the last 10K miles includes new battery & tires (’17), spark plugs, fuel injection service, & new catalytic convertor (’16), new shocks, seals, gaskets, engine belt, brake discs (‘09), and a new fuel pump (’04).
