2006 Toyota Prius I am selling this vehicle for my father, who is now living in a nursing home. This vehicle hasn't been driven any significant amount for nearly two years. Now that it has become clear that Dad's driving days are behind him, it is time to sell. OK, honestly, it's past time to sell. Just ask my wife. Key features: Factory navigation systemTires are in reasonably good condition (7/32" tread) Great gas mileage!The vehicle was running well before the HV battery failed (see below) Honestly, this car does have some significant issues: The high-voltage battery has reached end of life, and should be replaced. See attached dealer inspection report. The interior has several significant stains--it looks like someone spilled a soft drink in the front passenger seat, and there are other stains on the right rear seat, the hatch floor and the floor mats. There is some relatively minor cosmetic damage to the rear bumper. The passenger-side mirror attachment housing has a major crack (see photo), although the mirror itself is fine. This vehicle does have some typical issues related to not being driven, and stored outdoors for nearly two years: The brakes are rusty, however this should resolve quickly after the first few miles of driving (and the vehicle has been stored with the parking brake disengaged, so there is no issue with the parking brake being frozen). The car could certainly use a wax job, headlamp lens cleaning, etc. The local wasps have nested under the hood a couple times, but they have been evicted. :-) I'm happy to schedule an in-person inspection. On Nov-26-17 at 14:10:55 PST, seller added the following information: CORRECTION/Update, 2017-11-26 I'm terribly sorry for the mistake, but this vehicle apparently does NOT have a navigation system. The big display screen in the middle of the dashboard has several other modes--e.g., showing the climate control status, the radio/audio status, fuel consumption graphics, a backup camera, etc. I've added several new photos showing some of these modes. My sincere apologies for the error. I was apparently confusing this vehicle with Dad's other car, which I will also be selling soon. Someone asked for a picture of all the dashboard lights. It's not easy to do this with a still picture because of the electronics refresh rate, so I took a very short video. Please understand that the flashing you see in the video is an optical illusion due to the refresh rate of the dashboard electronics and the video frame rate of the camera. Of course, the human eye does not see this flashing effect in real life. The yellow light you see on the dash is the low tire pressure warning. Sorry, I didn't have an air compressor handy to get the tires up to recommended pressure before shooting the video. Finally, I took the car out for a quick spin today, and I'm happy to report that it runs very well! Of course, since the high voltage battery is not working, the gas engine runs continuously and the vehicle never switches to battery/electronic mode. I also carefully worked the rust off of the brakes, so that is no longer an issue.
