Vehicle Detail
You are bidding a 1970 Honda CB350. Odometer shows 3,600 miles. The bike has been stored 45 out of 48 years, always indoors. I did replace several parts with New Old Stock parts, to include; -fuel tank-seat-HM317 Code Mufflers-Gauges-Miscellaneous rubber I had the New Old Stock parts for 15 years before I ever found the right bike to put them on. I just performed a tune up, although it still has the original points and condenser. The bike runs flawlessly. I just installed new tires and tubes and completely rebuilt the front end. I wet sanded, buffed, and clear coated the lower legs, then new seals, oil, and tapered roller bearings in the steering head. As you can see the rest of the aluminum has been refinished as well. The rear rim did have a little battery acid dripped on it so I had the rim re-chromed by a reputable plater and then re-laced the wheel with OEM Honda spokes. The rim was a perfect candidate for replating because the bike was still wearing its original tires so there were no tire iron scars at all. The wheel came out perfect looking original. The machine still has all its original gray cables and I lubed them all so they should be good for a long time. Two gasket sets and a New Old Stock brake pedal go with the deal. The bike still has both original keys. I also just installed new OEM Honda Carb kits, battery, and drive chain. The bike shows really well when you give it a walk around visual inspection. It does however have a few little imperfections like a few scratches in the chrome on the right hand header pipe, a few micro nicks on some of the painted parts, and a few nicks on the front fender. The only thing that doesn't properly is the kick starter. It makes a clicking noise when you kick it through and it doesn't engage properly. This hasn't been a problem for me, I just the electric start button and away I go. I have all the kickstart pieces out of another motor I had and they go with the bike if someone wants everything working correctly. A friend of mine ran this add for me so if you're in the continental US, please contact me directly by phone with any questions. By the time an email reaches me and I get a response back, it may be too late. Emails are ok for foreign bidders, but realize the same risk applies. I'm the only one who can answer the questions. Direct is best. I have a clear South Carolina title in my name. Mike 864-593-3668 Paypal OK
