2012 John Cooper Works - CoupeThis is a driver's car: it handles like few others. It's a go-cart experience that is very hard to find. It out-corners Ferraris and Corvettes consistently (but can't keep up on the straights). The simple truth about this car is that you're usually grinning, if not laughing, while driving it. It's light, fast, and it gets a lot of attention. I upgraded the speakers with 6 JBL GTO's, so the experience in the cockpit matches the precision of the drive. The original owner had used cheap gas in it, which resulted in inconsistent power, so I used the warranty to replace pretty much everything:- NEW HAND BUILT MOTOR at 56,000 miles- New turbo- New cat. converter- New injectors - New water pump- New thermostat- New front brakes (rear brakes are at 25%)- New clutch (under 2,000 miles)All maintenance done by Mini of Camarillo, who is happy to walk you through the car. It does have a crack in the center of windshield that will need to be repaired.It's a brilliant car!
