1986 Mercury Capri - a great restoration piece Rare bubble-back/T-top combination. No accidents, major body/frame damage but will need significant paint/rust work. Suspension work, brake work and tires needed also. 5.0 Liter engine, 5-speed manual trans. Headers, Flowmaster mufflers, 3.55 gear ratio. Post-factory blue exterior paint with some peeling, interior is factory original burgundy cloth.Fiberglass cowl induction hood currently installed, original hood included if desired. Car has not been driven regularly since 1997. Driver's seat back latch needs repair, rear view mirror requires reattachment, dash has crack (see pic), back corner of interior roof material needs tucking (see pic), ignition keys included, but exterior door key is currently missing (not so much of an issue if planning a full restoration). Selling as-is, there may be other mechanical issues of which I may not be aware. Running strong and driveable currently, however this vehicle will require much attention /refurbishment /repair to get it to top performance. Ideal for a restoration.
