NO RESERVE AUCTION - PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE LISTING, PARTICULARLY “Problems Noted” 2005 Toyota 4Runner Limited 4x4 Silver Titanium Metallic 4.0 V6 engine with 5 speed Automatic Transmission Original owner / Dealer maintained / Clear title Mileage: 327,403 This is a long-distance commuter vehicle with 110 miles put on it per day minimum. Bought it new at Miller Toyota of Manassas and I have it maintained at Warrenton Toyota. When purchased, the vehicle was rustproofed/undercoated, paint treatment completed to resist damage to paint from environment and interior treated. Seats 5 people comfortably. Rear seats fold down allowing a larger cargo area in the back. Virginia safety inspection completed first week of October 2017 so it is good for one year in Virginia. Synthetic oil used and changed regularly, engine runs great burning no oil. There are no issues with this vehicle other than what is noted below in (Problems Noted). You are welcome to take it for a test drive. You can drive it away when I have cash in hand or have it shipped. The buyer is responsible for all shipping costs and arrangements. I will assist with loading. This is a no reserve auction with a reasonable starting price. I could get more if I parted it out but intend to keep it complete. The Dealer advised that the transmission had an electrical failure affecting a solenoid. Long and short Dealer advised that it needs a new transmission at $4400 dollars. When in Drive, it will travel about 300 yards and then act like it is in neutral. I shift it into 4th gear and drives normal. I continue to drive it on short trips but concerned about long trips, so I have decided to sell it and purchase a new vehicle. I was debating on getting a second option for this fix, but have already purchased a replacement vehicle. A company called LKQ online has a used 2005 Toyota 4Runner automatic transmission listed for sale on eBay and the transmission is located in Dumfries Virginia. The part number they have listed is (LKQ~101975376) they state is has 105,000 miles on it for $175.00 and comes with a 6-month warranty. I don’t have the time to go this route and I need something reliable for long distance driving. Thanks for Looking
