Vehicle Detail

1997 Ford Ranger with only 55,054 miles by original owner (me) - 4 Brand new tires with 0 miles on each- New Shocks on Rear- New Shocks for the front (Not installed yet -still in box)- Non smoking truck- Never driven by anyone other than me- It's been sitting in my driveway for a year since I bought a new Chevy Silverado- I was going to restore it but after a couple of weeks and several bruised knuckles, I decided that I hate working on cars What's wrong with it: - Damage on driver's side - front fender/driver's door/hood How did this happen?- I did not wreck it...Believe it or not, a stupid deer ran into me.- I paid a guy who works at a body shop and who was highly recommended by a neighbor to fix the damage. Don't ever pay someone before they complete the work. He started the work but never showed up after I gave him the money. If I were going to keep the truck, I would make the following repairs:- Driver's side fender needs restored but I would just replace it since fenders are so cheap- Driver's side door needs restored. I would either have it repaired by a reputable body shop or have it replaced if the price were reasonable- Hood has minor damage because the auto shop who did an oil change did not properly close the hood and it popped up as I was driving home. Now it has a dent and the hood latch needs to be replaced.- The rear bumper has rust on the left side. I would not waste any money trying to repair the bumper. I would simply buy one since they are cheap. I haven't driven it in over a year but it ran perfect when I last did. It needs a new battery for sure and all of the fluids should be changed. I am selling it as is because I have no interest in doing any repairs or restoration. It is being priced accordingly. There are only 55,054 miles on it and every one of those miles were driven by me. I bought the truck brand new in 1997. I just checked its value on Kelley Blue Book and it says that the truck is worth $3,076 in fair condition. My truck is in very good condition except for the items that I listed above. Cash only.
