I'm looking for a good home for my 1984 Pontiac Fiero with someone who can appreciate the historical significance of this car. It was one of only a few of GM's rear engine vehicles and was the last which Pontiac produced.This car is guaranteed to turn heads and I've gotten a multitude of "thumbs up" while driving down the road. Keep in mind that this car is over 33 years old and can be registered as a historic vehicle in most states.The car is mechanically sound. The engine and transmission are in great condition (does not burn oil and clutch was replaced less than 10K miles ago). It is the SE edition and features the GM "Iron Duke" 4 cylinder engine with direct carburetor injection, a moon roof, luggage rack and alloy wheels. It also has:-Pop up headlights (both motors recently rebuilt)-4 speed manual transmission (drains less power from engine)-New tires-FM/AM/AUX/CD sound system with speakers located in headrests (rare feature)-Newer front shocks-4 wheel disk brakes-New clutch master cylinderConsidering that the car is over 33 years old, it does need some reconditioning. It needs attention on:-A/C recharge. Seems to have a slow leak-Driver's side lock is out of alignment with the key hole in the door.-Paint faded in areas. -Seats could benefit from covers. Driver's side more worn than passenger side.-Headliner has some stains. The car is being sold "as is" and no warranty is stated or implied. Please feel free to contact me with questions.
