Vehicle Detail

This is a great example of a survivor. I am the second owner, it was rescued from a 10 year coma in the original owner's garage. The car has been garaged since new. There are no signs of sun damage anywhere. There are a few cosmetic issues, such as the upper left corner of the front seat and a small rust spot at the bottom of the left front fender, the carpet shows some age. I have been in, under and all over this car, there no rust issues other than the front fender, and it is a small area. All of the belts and hoses have been replaced, all the fluids and filters changed, carb rebuilt and gas tank cleaned. The brakes have been serviced and work like new. There is a new fuel pump and fuel gauge sender. All of the ignition parts are new and the system has been improved with a MSD Street Fire unit. The tires and wheels are new as of two months ago. I have the original wheels and hubcaps to go with the car, it has a full sized spare. The jack is in the trunk. The paint is really good for 40+ years of age, there are a few small nicks and scratches, but nothing big. The chrome on the bumpers is in great shape. I found the original build sheet under the front seat, the owners manual is in the glove box. There are a couple of things that don't work, A/C, heat (needs heater core), power seat. All lights work except for a courtesy light and the trunk light. It still has all 4 T3 headlights. The dash pad is still bright blue, no cracks. The engine is a 455 with a 2 bbl carb, 9:1 compression, runs fine on regular fuel. The rear axle ratio is a 2.56:1, no problem with running at highway speed. The car runs and drives great, smooth, quiet, and powerful. I got it with 83,500 miles on it and was told that this is real mileage, now has 88, 875. Speedometer is accurate and the fuel gauge works. The under hood area is grungy, I cleaned it enough to do the repair work but, it needs some detailing to look nice. The A/C system is completely intact and still has some pressure in the system, not enough to let the compressor run though. Overall this is a really good car to have some fun with and would be even nicer with some detailing. This car is fully able to be driven anywhere, completely road worthy. I will answer any questions as soon as possible. I will want a deposit of $500 within two days of sale, balance to be paid in cash at time of pickup.
