1977 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40 - A desirable year. This vehicle has a modified engine with some original parts, 4-speed transmission shifts fairly smooth, runs well but could use upgrades. Body is original-the exterior has been repainted a proprietary FJ40 Voodoo Blue. Original driver and passenger seats with rare headrests, the passenger seat is worn on base seams, back jump seat is not original and folds down for extra space. The frame is in good shape but the exterior has rust (some rust bubbles) at the bottom of door panels and other areas as seen in photographs and will need body work/welding to repair these areas. The roof is good but the rubber seam is dry and needs replacement. Lockbox in the center front console. I drive this car locally and not on highways, out about 10 miles max. This is an ideal project car needing new front fenders available through various distributors (OEM) as well as other upgrades (the fenders are always the first to go and replacements will not devalue the vehicle). There is also an extra set of original rare 1978 Snow Cruiser tires in excellent condition including rims for heavier driving conditions that I have had stored in a barn. This vehicle is a head-turner and it is hard to walk out of the car without being stopped by fans of this classic. I'm selling this 'as is' and I do not have the time to do any upgrades on this vehicle. I am available to answer any questions or provide additional photographs.
