1970 Chevelle SS This 1970 Chevelle was restored approximately 13 years ago by the then owner of the Vette Shop East in Roseville MI to be part of his personal collection. No expense was spared on the restoration and a flawless paint job was laid out in midnight metallic blue with white stripes using a high end Dupont base clear system. The restoration was a frame off nut and bolt replacement and all sheet metal appears to be original and in excellent shpae. The car was built to be enjoyed with non-number matching 454 (rebuilt carb/igniton in 2016) and M-21 trans (full rebuilt in 2016) with a correct 12 bolt rear end equipped with a modest gear allowing the vehicle to have exceptional toque but still travel a highway at 70 mph turing a modest 3000 rpm. I've run this out to 90mph and it still only takes one finger to steer safely. The interior was completely replaced or recovered with correct reproduction parts along with the vinyl top. You will be truly amazed how straight and well this car runs. It has power steering with a reduced ratio box that allows for tighter handling and the new centerforce clutch (replaced 2016) grabs very well. This is a very clean honest car that is mechanically sound and can be driven daily but also shown should someone chose. I will also assist with shipping after the cruise if needed. Spent a few grand a year ago making the car perfect (went thru motor/rebuilt carb/full rebuilt M21 tranny and new Centerforce clutch), racing bell housing for safety so nothing blows through floor if anything let's go New Radio/speakers with factory located high output 6x9's Bluetooth and SiriusI daily drive this for weeks when the weather is nice. I guarantee you'll be surprised how well this thing drives/runs/etc (assuming your familiar with classics). It's a beast and it's beautiful. Car is hiding no rust (take a look at the trunk picture).
