It's an excellent car that resides in a collection of air cooled Porsche's and other vintage European sportscars. I'd like to clear up some space before the weather changes. GOOD LUCK! 2002 Audi TT ALMS AVUS SILVER/RED 1 of 1,000 total produced and 1 of 500 in this configuration. 225hp 4 cylinder, 6 speed manual transmission, Quattro AWD 41,000 miles from four documented owners with complete service history, books, 3 keys, & window sticker. A Texas car until fall of 2015. Now in a private European Sportscar collection. Time to make room for other acquisitions. Within the last 3,000 miles: timing belt and full mechanical service, four Continental DWS ultra high performance all season tires, new brakes including OEM front calipers, new OEM shifter, new rear deck lid struts. The car has been open check book maintained and needs absolutely nothing. The exterior condition of the car is excellent. All original paint other than professional bumper cover touch ups. All body panels are original paint and free of dents and scratches. All VIN tags in tact. Front grilles replaced with OEM Audi grilles purely for freshening. Wheels are in excellent condition with only a few minor nicks. All trim, lenses and glass excellent and original. Windows were tinted by Texas owner and the material has held up well. With the AVUS silver paint, 18" wheels, and tinted windows this car draws attention everywhere it goes. It is a striking 15 year old car that looks nearly new. Absolutely zero exterior cosmetic needs. The interior of the car is also excellent. The red leather is in wonderful supple condition free of and tears, stains, or significant bolster wear. The color is bright and as delivered from the factory. Steering wheel leather in beautiful condition without excessive wear. Door panels are excellent. Carpets, headliner, and trim all virtually new. All switch gear functions as new. Options as delivered: Bose sound, six disc cd changer, heated seats. The car is completely stock and has zero modifications. Flaws: main instrument pod has some pixelation loss, some of the black plastic/rubber finish has worn off the Bose stereo controls, rear seat cd changer and safety kit covers are always open as the closure mechanisms have worn out, foam used in HVAC ducts has dried out and sometimes blows small particles into the cabin. I have chosen to leave these common issues "as is" on the car as they did not bother me enough to address them. That said, if an Audi enthusiast were to buy this car for a minor time and money investment these issues could be addressed and I would offer you'd have one of the most original and correct Audi TT ALMS cars out there.
