1976 GMC Sierra Classic 4 wheel drive short bed pickup truck. This truck was purchased new by an elderly gentleman that owned it for almost 40 years. Then he sold it to the second owner who sold it to me. Awesome running driving truck has 350 engine with Edelbrock carb, andTH350 automatic transmission. Truck is equipped with factory A/C that is all connected except the drive belt. Would need servicing to function again. Original full time transfer case has been converted to part time with lockout hubs. Allows truck to be driven in 2 wheel drive to save on gas when 4-wheel drive is not needed and save front axle drivetrain from excessive wear. All lights, turn signals, wipers, dash gauges, heater blower are working as well as the original dual saddle gas tanks and electric switchover valve. The body is very solid and quite straight for a 41 year old truck. Does have a couple small rust issues. The left front fender has a small section on the top edge of the wheel lip, fender is straight so it would be worth fixing. The right rear cab corner is starting to rust through and would need minor patching, the left cab corner is real solid no through rust. Floors are really solid except edge of almost the full length of the left and short section of right side where it meets the weatherstripping is rusted through as shown in pictures could be patched fairly easily. Common place to rust due to water sitting under weatherstripping. Doesn't really need rocker panels they are very solid drivers side rocker has a little whamy on the lower rear. Right lower front fender has some light damage otherwise straight. Bed has on spot on lower right side of wheel well just starting to come through easy fix. doors and hood are rust free and very straight. Only a few small dents in the bed here and there as shown in pictures. The tail gate is in bad shape easy to find used tailgates its the same from years 1973-87. Same with the fenders easy to find real nice used ones. Truck drives real nice down the road engine has lots of power absolutely no smoke transmission shifts well brakes work good ready to be daily driven if so desired. Has newer wheels and tires with good tread and a brand new spare tire underneath. The truck does not currently pass a California smog check due to aftermarket Edelbrock carburetor. It would need a correct California emission compliant quadrajet carb to pass. The air pump and evaporative canister that it requires are in place. Also truck has not been registered since July 2014 and I don't believe it was non-opt so there will be some back fees when registering. This only applies to California residents all other states fees would not apply.
