Vehicle Detail
95 RMW 167k wht WB4 Up for offer is a 1995 Buick Roadmaster Estate Wagon with 167k two Florida owner miles. Boasting GMs Corvette inspired multiport injected 5.7L LT1 V8 engine and 4L60E 4 speed automatic transmission, she puts down plenty of power. Base 2.56 gears; open rear end, rated for 3000 lbs. towing. Relatively rare (not saying its more valuable) wood delete (WB4 build code). These wagons get 16 mpg in town and 24 highway at 70 mph. No accidents on the history report - send me your email address and Ill send it to you. Please read the description and view pics carefully - runs and drives well, body has no rust and is VERY straight, and interior is good, but has lots of little issues and Im mentioning every little thing on this car I can find wrong, mostly because it photographs nicely and I dont want you to think its a perfect car as it is far from it. Good daily driver or base for your hot rod wagon. Priced accordingly. Questions? Click "ask seller a question" or call Fred at 315-246-0612. Please allow time for a response as I work 8-5 at a regular job in Charleston. Car available for showing in Mt. Pleasant after 6:30 pm weekdays or any time weekends by appointment. Condition Report ENGINE: Runs on all eight cylinders without smoking, missing or knocking. Engine runs at proper temperature. Good battery & good charging system. New water pump. Small exhaust manifold leak at #7 cylinder where bolt is broken (VERY common on these engines) that goes away as car warms up. Runs strong. TRANSMISSION: Performs as designed. Engages gears quickly and shifts through all forward gears and reverse with good downshift and torque converter performance. Clean fluid with no burn odors. EXTERIOR: Body: Body is in excellent shape. Very straight with on door ding. Above average. Paint: Paint is good - one scratch on right rear quarterpanel and some discoloration on the plastic C pillar trim. Roof appears repainted but sides are all original paint with original painted pinstripe. Other: Lower stainless bright trim has some small dings all around but worst on rear quarterpanels and tailgate (with Buy Now, Ill include straight pieces). Left front bumper trim is dinged. Rubber side trim is all there. Windshield has a crack on the right upper side (I can get new one installed for $180), all other glass are good with no chips or cracks. Undercarriage is solid as seen in pics. Underhood sheet metal/wheelhouses are solid. Tailgate sill and door jambs have no rust as seen in pics. Rear wiper arm is attached but broken. Rear hatch needs new struts. Right side hubcaps have curb rash and are missing center caps. INTERIOR: Interior of the car is in good shape - pics tell the story well. Dash has no cracks. Carpeting is nice in cargo area. Passenger area carpets have some stains. Headliner has some tears near the front doors. Front seat has a tear outboard. Rear seat has a small tear on right bottom. No smoke or pet odors but a little musty. Nice interior overall. ELECTRICAL STUFF: All inspection items work (lights, horn, wipers, etc.) Newer A/C compressor. Most power options work reliably, including power windows, power locks, power seats, hot heat and cold A/C, tilt, cruise, am/fm stereo (cassette does not work), twilight sentinel, intermittent wipers, and rear defroster. The rear hatch opens with key only. These 90s GM full size cars are notorious for inaccurate fuel gauges - please keep full until youre sure of how inaccurate it is. Right front window is off track, power antenna is stuck in the up position, and interior lights dont always turn off, so I have pulled that fuse (I think its a wire in a door button - Ive replaced the chime module that often causes this.) I might look into this further, but buy assuming it is the case. DRIVEABILITY: Drives out well. Has a small amount of play in the steering. Suspension is good and car pulls a little to the right when driving. Brakes work well with good linings up front but I didnt pull drums so rears are unknown. Tires have about 60% tread remaining rear but fronts are near end of life. Solid original stainless exhaust pipes with no leaks in the pipes but exhaust manifold leak exists as mentioned above. Check engine light is not lit (except at start up as it should.) Short version terms: Small non-refundable deposit as listed (but fast) by Paypal within 24 hours. Balance due in 5 days by cash in person or Wells Fargo cashiers check. Open to other payment options - contact me if needed.
