Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 2008 Volvo XC70 AWD wagon. I would rate the exterior of this wagon to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for it's age and mileage. As you can see, this is a good looking wagon. She is finished in black over tan interior, which is a good color combination. The black finish has a mile deep shine and looks as smooth as glass. As with any older vehicle, please expect a few flaws and imperfections commensurate with age and mileage. However, you'd be hard pressed to find anything worth complaining about as you walk around the exterior of this Volvo. All of the trim and cladding is present and shows well. The body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors and tail gate all open and close easily. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The factory alloy wheels show well for their age and are wrapped in a matching set of Sumitumo's with good tread all around. Pride in ownership shows throughout this XC70. Please take your time to check out each of the photos carefully. I would rate the interior of this XC70 to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for it's age and mileage. The door cards are clean and tight. The carpets show a few marks from age but are acceptable and do not show excessive wear. The seats are clean and comfortable. The driver's seat shows a little wear, but nothing excessive for the age and mileage of this Volvo. The power windows, locks, seats and mirrors all work properly. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. The heater works well and the air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR, too. The audio system is original and sounds good. There are steering wheel audio controls, too. The cargo area is spacious and clean. A full set of older factory floor mats (probably original) are included. Mechanically, this XC70 appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 3.2L inline six cylinder engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are good. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. Steering and braking feel good, too. The engine keeps perfect temperature and feels strong. The check engine light was on when I acquired this XC70. There was a lean code and a catalyst inefficiency code. I cleared them to see what would come back because the car drives perfectly. Nothing came back immediately. To be safe, you should assume they'll both come back. However, the car drives perfectly and makes excellent power. She hits the road as straight as an arrow. This XC70 is an absolute pleasure to drive. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts perfectly with zero issues. The AWD system is tested and working properly. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with absolutely no compalints. I've personally put the last 170+ miles on this car and would drive it anywhere without a second thought.
