1962 Pontiac Star Chief with 51,400 ORIGINAL MILES . ALL ORIGINAL, never had frame-off or any sort of major work. This car is ready for a cross-country trip or running around town... 100% road-ready and just begging to be enjoyed! We are the Original Owner(s) as it was my great grandfather's, who bought the car 6 months before he passed away... my grandmother kept the car in the garage until 2014 when she decided she wanted to take a ride in it... This car is in EXCELLENT condition, being GARAGE-KEPT for the past 50 years until we made her road-ready about 2 years ago. My family restores antique cars, specifically Model A's and Model T's, and took the same meticulous approach in bringing this boat back to life. Interior is in IMMACULATE shape, seats are in perfect condition and even the floor mats are in great shape. The only visible defect is some minor paint defects on the roof, almost look to be stress cracks but isolated to about a One Square Ft area on the roof above where the rear passenger on driver's side would sit. I tried to take a clear shot of it in the photo taken from the rear quarter panel on driver's side. The Pontiac drive like a ship, for lack of a better term. Smoother than a Cadillac and I would say it's going to be pretty difficult to parallel park in a city, but definitely worth the looks if you're skilled enough to park it! The vehicle is located in Upstate New York, in the Corning area where it is also for sale locally. By the time of purchase, the vehicle will have no more than 51,320 miles on it (building in an extra 3 miles if we need to fill up with gas) . PLEASE NOTE that since the picture under the hood was taken, the BATTERY HAS BEEN REPLACED (believe it's an Interstate but will have to confirm).
