Vehicle Detail

1969 Triumph Tiger TR6R 650 with matching frame and engine numbers. I have owned this bike since February 2009 and have a clean Arkansas Title. It is in really nice “daily rider condition.” The odometer shows 33657 miles, but this engine could not have that many miles. The 1969 Triumph is often called one of the last great Meriden Triumph Motorcycles. The previous owner told me the motor was rebuilt when he got it, even though I cannot verify this, I do not doubt this information after owning the bike for 8 years, it is one of the strongest 650's I have ever ridden. The chrome looks very good, the powder coating on the gas tank has a couple of small chips but nothing major and no dents to repair. Inside the gas tank looks really good with no visible rust. The tires are a few years old but have good tread. The seat was restored last year, and a new clutch cable was installed. All ignition electronics are handled by an “ARD Mini Magneto” which is pretty rare. There is a battery in the bike but a battery it is not necessary for starting or riding, both the headlight and taillight work when the bike is running. The chain guard is not original Triumph. I changed the rear brake switch (still have the original) and used an aftermarket switch that works very well. There is an add-on finned oil cooler attached to the frame just behind the front wheel which could easily be removed, and also a Vintage Webco rocker box oil cooler. Two issues when I got the bike: there was a thread crack at the primary chain drain hole which leaked oil, I took the bike to renowned Triumph Racer Jerry Kocinski (Jerry's Triumph Shop, Little Rock, AR) for repair and I have had no problems with his repair seal since 2009. The amp meter and red and green glow lamps on either side of the amp meter in the headlight bucket were not rewired when the bike was redone; this has never been a big issue for me since the “ARD Mini Magneto” is so dependable.A $100 non-refundable Deposit via PayPal is due at auction end with final balance payment by cash, wire transfer, cashier's check due in 7 days. I can hold the bike a while as long as it is paid in full. I'm located in Little Rock Arkansas and shipping arrangements are up to the buyer. Auction Notes:Please ask any questions you might have prior to auction end. This motorcycle is sold “as is” and can be inspected prior to auction ending. No guarantees or warranties are implied or made by the seller.I will not re-negotiate the price of the bike after the auction.I reserve the right to remove this listing at any time.
