Boasting GMs Corvette inspired multiport injected 5.7L LT1 V8 engine and 4L60E 4 speed automatic transmission, she puts down plenty of power. Base 2.56 gears; open rear end, rated for 3000 lbs. towing. This car has a light duty hitch. Medium Garnet Red metallic in color. Delivers consistent 16 in town and 24 highway at 70 mph. Pleasant after 6:30 pm weekdays or any time weekends by appointment. Condition Report ENGINE: Runs on all eight cylinders without smoking, missing or knocking. Engine runs at proper temperature. Good battery & good charging system. Starts easy and runs strong. TRANSMISSION: Performs beautifully. Engages gears quickly and shifts through all forward gears and reverse with good downshift and torque converter performance. Clean fluid with no burn odors. EXTERIOR: Body: Body is very straight with no notable damage. No rust and no bondo. Above average. Paint: Paint is nice with a few scratches and chips consistent with age, mostly on the rear bumper. Above average also. Wood: Upper wood trim was removed, painted tan and reinstalled so it wont peel like most do at this age. The side panel fake wood is in good shape - some cracks and chips mostly on the drivers side. Other: Windshield and all other glass are good with no chips or cracks. Undercarriage is super solid as seen in pics. Underhood sheet metal/wheelhouses are spotless. Tailgate sill and door jambs are also solid as seen in pics. Spoked hubcaps are in good shape. INTERIOR: Interior of the car is in very good shape. Dash has no cracks. Cloth seating areas are in very nice shape. Carpet in seating area has two wear spots outboard from old folks using the parking brake and pushing out of car. Carpet in cargo area is very nice. Headliner is super - no sag or tears. Nice low-mile interior overall. ELECTRICAL STUFF: All inspection items work (lights, horn, wipers, etc.) The power antenna goes up halfway but all other power options work reliably, including power windows, power locks, dual power seats, hot heat and cold A/C, tilt, cruise, am/fm stereo cassette, rear window release, rear wiper, intermittent wipers, and rear defroster. DRIVEABILITY: Drives out great. Steering is tight, alignment is good, suspension is tight. Brakes work well with good linings. Tires have about 20% tread remaining on a matched set of older Michelins that are near the end of their useful life. Solid quiet exhaust with no leaks.
