For sale is a 2001 Porsche 911 996 Carrera 4 coupe. The car is equipped with a rear mounted six-cylinder engine mated to a Tiptronic automatic transmission featuring steering wheel mounted shifter controls. Optional items include Litronic headlights, heated seats, headlight washers, the sport steering wheel, and the Hi-Fi Bose sound system. I added 18 inch Porsche 997 wheels which are in perfect condition with no curb rash and they are wrapped in BF Goodrich Comp T/A 2 tires with less than 5,000 miles. The car has no accident history and will come with a clean, lien free PA title. The car is PA inspected until Nov., 2017 and currently shows ~89K miles.This car has been my daily driver for the last couple of year and is an excellent example of a very clean, well sorted 996. A major service was performed immediately prior to my ownership @ 57K miles which included a new IMS bearing, new valve cover gaskets, a new rear main seal, new front axle seals, and new rear sway bar links. I have the service document for this which was performed by Porsche of Asheville, NC. Over the years that I have owned the vehicle I have performed all routine maintenance myself at or ahead of recommend intervals and replaced or refurbished many items that required attention. Shortly into my ownership of the vehicle the ABS/PSM module failed which is a common and very expensive issue with 996's. I replaced the unit with the upgraded 997 module which should have no issues going forward. All plugs and wires were replaced as preventive maintenance in May 2016 and the coolant overflow tank and cap were replaced this year. Lastly, I just installed new front brake rotors, pads, and wear sensors. The vehicle is currently located in Lancaster, PA and mileage may change slightly as I do still drive the vehicle from time to time.
