Vehicle Detail
You are bidding on an All Original, Original Owner, never altered, 1970 Honda CB750 K0 I hate the overly used term "Barn Find" but this would be a good example of that cliche This bike is, to use another cliche, a true time capsuleI obtained this bike from the original ownerNothing has been altered on the bike, and it is obvious that it has never been apart other than incidental stuff. All the body work is original to the bike with the Oil Tank side cover being an exception. Not sure, but it looks like it may have been replaced at some point.I say that because all the bodywork shows evidence of the the original Candy Blue Green paint under the badly repainted surfaces, except that side cover. Also, the head light ears have either been chromed or they are from a later model. The bike has all the original and correct number "8" bolts in all the correct places and none look like they have ever been touched. The original HM 300 pipes are in place, and again, look totally un-touched. Although, they are in pretty rough shape.Even the battery looks original, but I can not verify that.It has the original "Single Cut" front fender that is in pretty good shape with no dents. They only thing that is missing off the bike is the original recessed ignition and key.The engine does NOT turn over, so obviously would need to be gone through if one were to restore the bike.I have left the the bike exactly the way I bought it, with all the dust and storage grunge still on the bike. What is interesting is that it is all just THAT, Dust and mild surface rust. NO oil, grease, or caked on dirt of any kind. So, that tells me that the bike is very clean in that respect and would probably clean up pretty well.Front tire looks like it may be the original one, and back tire is not, but it is a very old 1970s vintage tire. The seat is the original red foam seat that has collapsed and is lumpy from time. All the wiring and electrical components are original and un-touched. with the exception of the ignition portion. Not sure what happened there. The handle bars and switches are all original and un-touchedThis bike is obviously pretty rough overall, but a GREAT candidate for a 100 point restoration project. These bikes have been so hammered and altered and molested over the years, that it is nice, and rare, to find one that is mostly original and un-touched. Left pretty much as it was from the factory. Bike has clear title from the original owner. All shipping costs shall be paid by buyerI will cooperate with shipping and bike is located at a business address with a roll-up door and has full truck access.
