My wife and i have owned this timeless vehicle for almost 20 years - the restoration process took almost 10 years - whatever needed to be replaced was replaced* engine was taken down and rebuilt - runs great ($1,600)*new carb*transmission rebuilt/replaced ($1,800)* new upholstery ($1,200)* new headliner* new door panels* new tires*RARE side sliding window The transmission is strong and smooth - much easier to drive the the standard shift models that are a challenge to shift.
