MECHANICAL: Engine starts and revs willingly and because it's eligible for "collector car" registration in AZ, it's been unburdened of the plumbing, pumps and other paraphernalia that was originally required on this model year. Still using the original SU's that have also been recently rebuilt. Transmission and clutch shift smoothly thru all gears with no issues. Steering is responsive with no "wander" and the suspension and brakes function well. ELECTRICAL: Gauges,switches and electrical systems all function as designed. Electric fuel pump has been added. EXTERIOR: Panel alignment and door fit is excellent. Doors close with a solid "thunk". Paint looks good from about 5 feet but with closer inspection there is some "crazing" caused by the AZ sun but there is no sign of surface rust or corrosion. Bright workand glass appear original and are in good condition. Undercarriage is dry with no signs of corrosion. Jacking points and frame are in very good condition. Trunk has been prepared for mounting a luggage carrier but currently not fitted. INTERIOR: Red/Burgundy leather interior is in excellent condition. Door panels and rugs are also in very good condition. Beige cloth top and tonneau cover are virtually new. Trunk area has new carpeting that includes the spare tire cover.
