Vehicle Detail

This is a good solid Landcruiser with everything but minor stuff working. I bought this vehicle with 138,000 miles on it so the last 100,000 miles have been mine. The first owner bought it in Tennessee and I was told drove it to Vegas when it had about 40,000 miles on it. So for approximately the last 200,000 miles it has been a desert vehicle. It has never been in an accident as far as I know. This is not a show vehicle but has proven itself VERY reliable and has pulled its fair share of trucks out of mud and snow (we won't mention brands). I got it because it will go about anywhere and you can easily sleep two people in the back. The engine is original and I have kept it stock. I have changed the oil religiously every 3,000 miles. I ran cylinder compression tests 3 years ago and got 145, 137, 142, 140, 145, and 143 psi so the engine is still strong and has always passed smog checks. The four wheel drive works fine and has never failed to engage. It has the front locking hubs of course so you don’t lose gas mileage when not in 4WD. The A/C works great. Yesterday, here in Henderson, it was 105 F and I was getting 55 F air out of it while it was parked with a fast idle. My new cars won’t do that. It has a Pioneer AM/FM/CD deck in it with Kenwood speakers. It used to wear BFG 33” x 9.5” tires and a couple of the pictures show it with those tires. That size works great on it with plenty of clearance. I put the smaller 235’s on it because lately I have only been driving it around town. The spare tire is still a BFG 33 x 9.5. All the power windows work as does the antenna and power side mirrors. It has: - New (last October) Kumho Road Venture AT51 M&S 235/75-15 on original chrome rims. - New (within last 10K miles) Radiator - New (within last 10K miles) Alternator - New (within last 10K miles) A/C Compressor and drier - New (within last 10K miles) Front & Rear Brakes and Front Rotors - New (within last 10K miles) Fuel Filter - New (within last 10K miles) hoses and belts. - New (within last 10K miles) gas struts on hatch. - Front & Rear Specter Off-Road Comfort Ride leaf springs with greaseable pin. About a 2 inch lift. - Front & Rear extended shackles - Front & Rear flexible brake lines have been replaced with braided stainless steel lines. - Front & Rear Specter Off-Road U-bolt skid plates - High & Low Beam Sylvania SilverStar High Performance Headlights - Pioneer AM/FM CD Player with manual - Man-A-Fre Class 3 Hitch installed. This is a 2 inch hitch. - Original tool pouch with tools, jack and Owner’s Guide. Reasons it’s not a show vehicle: It needs a new paint job or at least some touchup and a good buffing as it is sun faded. The seats need new seat covers. The windshield is cracked. A very small rock hit it and it has gradually grown over the years. I never felt the need to replace it. There is a small rust hole on the top of the right front fender and there is evidence of rust under the paint just above the “4WD” emblem on the tailgate. I’m not aware of any other rust on the body. There is evidence of previous dent repair on top of the left front fender and the lower front of the left front door. I see no evidence of rust in these areas. The lower quarter panel right behind the left rear tire was bent in by the tread separating from a tire right after I bought it. The console box lid hinge needs fixed and the dome lights need new lenses. The power door locks work on the front doors and tailgate but not the rear doors. The hatch outside key lock doesn’t work. The windshield washer bottle is cracked at the top. These are small things I would fix if I had the time. Legal talk: This vehicle is sold as-is with no warranty whatsoever expressed or implied. It kind of kills me to sell it as it has been such a good vehicle. Three kids don’t allow my wife and I to go use it anymore like we used to. Please make sure you have your significant other's permission, funds in hand, really want to own it, etc. before you bid. Please ask any questions you would like BEFORE you bid. I can provide additional pics or talk on the phone if you would like. This vehicle is available in Henderson, Nevada. Henderson is a suburb of Las Vegas. That’s right, Vegas. Come to town and play for a while and then drive your Landcruiser home. I will make the vehicle available for your shipper (that you arrange) if you want to go that way. Cashier’s check from a local bank is best. I will meet you there so I can see the check come from them. Otherwise cash is okay. Truck and title will be released once I have the cashier’s check or cash in hand and you have signed a Bill of Sale. Immediate (within 24 hours) deposit of $500 through Paypal is required. Once you bid and you win the auction, the deposit is non-refundable. On Jul-14-17 at 18:04:12 PDT, seller added the following information: New information posted on 7-14-17 @ 6:04 PM PDT: The photos don't show the front passenger head rest but I have it and it is installed now. Also, I forgot to mention that the vinyl dash top is cracked. Most landcruisers this age have cracked dash tops. I have always kept a dash mat on it so I didn't think about it. If anyone who has already bid would like to withdraw their bid, just let me know and I will cancel it. Please no requests to cancel bids in the last 24 hours of the auction though.
