I'm the second owner and did the upgrade to PD specs: All painted parts; OEM Paris Dakar 9-gallon tank, fairings, fenders and covers were bead-blasted to remove any paint, primed and professionally finished in BMW Alpine white by Al Martinez in Orange CA. The engine casings and forks were also bead-blasted to expose the beauty of the aluminum casting. A major service was recently done by Valdi’sMotoZone in Torrance CA: All fluids and filters, cleaned and synced carburetors, valve adjustment, new spark plugs, new battery, drive train disassembly and inspection and test drive. No dings, no dents, no doubts - you won't find another one like this.
