This is an original 1980 Porsche 911 SC Targa purchased by me on October 10th 1980. The car has never been modified, damaged or raced and has completed 145,800 miles. The engine was overhauled at 128,000 in miles in 2001 with new valves, guides, piston rings and bearings, all balanced and tuned. The odometer/speedometer was replaced at the time and the car has completed only 17,800 miles since. Used only occasionally in the last 17 years and stored in a garage. The body, paint and interior are all in good original condition with the seat leather having been replaced; the passenger seat recently. There are no leaks or rust. The Targa top is in good condition with no tears or cracks. It has been rarely used. The car was recently checked over and oil and brake fluids replaced. New bushings installed in the gear box. The spare tire has never been used and the tool kit and air compressor are complete and working. The car is located in Tiburon, California and I have every confidence that you could drive it home wherever you live. This is an opportunity to buy a truly original, one owner example of a fine collectible, useable car. It runs better now than when I first bought it. I purchased it as part of my mid-life crisis almost 40 years ago. It’s finally over!
