Thanks for stopping in to read about Captain Dependable! In my opinion, This 2001 Ford F250 4X4 7.3L Diesel is the one of the few trucks left around that are truly solid and dependable. This machine has been well taken care of and maintained. Outside of a few dings and dents, the body is straight as an arrow - Accept - a deer ran into the truck ( not the other way around ) last year, leaving a decent size indentation in the drivers side fender. Even with that imperfection, this 2001 model is in better shape than almost every other truck of its age that you will find on the road. The truck has a fair amount of highway miles on it ( app. 258,265 miles ) , but was and still is well maintained. Mechanically this truck is extremely Sound and has no issues whatsoever at this time or since I have owned the truck. Everywhere I go people ask me about this truck and whether or not it is for sale! Its a classic indeed and the time has come for me to let it go as I have other areas I would like to sink some cash into. There are no secrets here whatsoever.
