Sadly needing to sell my grandfathers near mint condition 1990 Lincoln Town Car. This car has rarely been driven having under 34k miles and it runs great. When my grandfather passed decades ago it was stored inside my fathers garage for those years. Since my father had moved I now have possession of the car but it should be garaged to preserve its spectacular condition. The air bag suspension was replaced with a conventional spring suspension when it was brought out from storage a few years ago. The brake lines have all been replaced and it drives like a comfortable couch floating in a cloud. Everything has been tuned and cleaned up and it mechanically runs like it did back in the early 90s. Small issues include the rear window motor or regulators need to be changed. The front driver side and passenger regulators and motors were just recently changed out and they operate perfect. The controller for the hot and cold air was not operating correctly so an external switch was installed, which controls it perfectly now (this happened back in the 90s and Lincoln/Ford could not figure out the exact issue also. It is not the controller itself). I also noticed the cd player would not play a test CD but the radio works perfectly. The door handles are also a little sticky and sometimes the doors need a little more force to close properly. As for cosmetics this car is pretty close to new. Besides a minor outside buff and wax the exterior is close to mint shape. The interior is also close to mint. There is a small piece of fabric trim around the driver side door that hangs but can easily be glued back on. AC runs cold and as intended. Besides the minor issues associated with a vintage car such as this it is in such good condition it is a must see. Title is clear but because it is now considered a classic the State of CT only requires a bill of sale. The car also comes with the original hub caps as pictured and has one of the first car phones!
