Vehicle Detail
This is a Project bike, but the price shows that. It ran 2 years ago, carb problems and inactivity has led it to no start now. The engine turns over freely and has great compression. I had it going and registered for a year before it sat idle. Numbers match, clear title in my name. Look closely at the pictures and email for more if you like but it has been through a few owners. Has a few triumph parts that were cut or modified, such as the rear fender and back of frame under seat. ( Cafe Modification? ) The key was relocated and the gauges are gone. kick stand looks non- triumph. Lights work, no blinker. Kick start only. Now for the good. As said, the engine is nice, matching to the frame also! The tank is nice but paint is owner applied. Badges look original. Rims and tires look good. Frame looks to have been powder coated the silver. Pipes looks fairly new. Sounded very nice and mellow like a twin should. We could keep talking about the good and bad all day, but the price is for a project triumph that has a lot of OEM pieces with it. I do have some original air box, side covers, chain guard pieces to include. The description of this motorcycle is written to the best of my knowledge. However, I am by no means an expert on vintage motorcycles. Please don’t hesitate to ask for more photos and, if possible, come and look in person before the auction ends. ALL SALES ARE FINAL!
