1985 PORSCHE 911 930 SLANTNOSE CONVERSION Please check out my blog for a full gallery of photos! blummmotors.tumblr.com You’ve dreamt of owning a 911 and this is your opportunity for a truly special one. The 3.2 liter rear-mounted engine allows for exceptional handling on winding country roads or quick acceleration on straightaways. This car goes from 0 to 60 mph in 5.3 seconds, an incredible feat for engineering in the 20th century and an extraordinary feeling as you are pushed into the back of your seat. The 911 is the gold standard for sports car enthusiasts especially those produced in the 80s, referred to as the ‘golden age’ of Porsche. The wide body of this car creates elegant curves and lines which combine racing influences with a business-worthy coupe. The sleek white exterior beautifully contrasts the luxurious black interior. The slantnose in this particular car sets it apart from the rest and gives it an even more unique, head-turning look. From Hagerty Magazine:The 3.2-liter 1984 Porsche 911 Carrera debuted hot on the heels of a very successful run of 911SC models, built from 1978 to 1983. The Carrera—priced at $32,000—shared most of its visual cues with its immediate predecessor, but benefitted from added power and performance, as well as other evolutionary updates. The cars came as they had when the SC bowed out—in coupe, open Cabriolet, and the in-between Targa body styles. The chief upgrade in the Carrera was the larger 3.2-liter flat six engine, which looked much like that of the 3.0 it replaced but was built chiefly of all-new parts. One crucial change was an improved timing chain tensioner, which had been an issue on previous models. Also new was Bosch Motronic fuel injection, which replaced the K-Jetronic system of yore. The engine produced 200 horsepower and came mated to a Getrag five-speed manual transmission. This was enough to propel the Carrera from 0 to 60 mph in about 5.5 seconds. Changes were few for 1985, though the Turbo Look package now carried over to Cabriolets and Targas. 129,000 MilesTwo Owner CarCalifornia Driven 3.2 Liter Flat Six Cylinder Naturally Aspirated Gasoline EngineImmediate responsiveness and classic Porsche powerRear-mounted engine provides optimal weight distribution for exceptional traction and handling on curvesRear-Wheel Drive5 Speed Manual Transmission207 Horsepower192 lb-ft @ 4800 RPMPort Fuel Injection9.5:1 Compression Ratio2,866 lbs Curb-Weight5.3 second 0-60 MPH (Car and Driver Magazine), 152 MPH top speed15 MPG City, 23 MPG Highway21 Gallon Fuel Capacity 930 Slantnose Turbo ConversionBeautifully converted to a 930 SlantnoseIncludes slantnose option and whaletail spoiler InteriorAll stock parts and fabrics make this car feel like it just came out of the factory (excludes steering wheel upgrade)All black theme provides elegant contrast to the white exterior finishLuxurious Silverknit Porsche Carpeting in Mint ConditionStock Porsche Leather Bucket SeatsMomo Steering Wheel UpgradePower WindowsStowable Rear SeatsPower Side Mirrors BBS RS WheelsPerformance BBS wheels allow for wider tires and better handlingDesirable Turbo look adds to the overall aesthetic17” diameter wheels10” wide rear wheels/tires9” wide front wheels/tiresMichelin Racing tires Removable/Collapsible RoofUpgraded Cat-Back ExhaustFoglights, Retractable HeadlightsNew BrakesNew SealsNice Paint FinishComes With Fitted Car Cover Please check out my blog for a full gallery of photos!blummmotors.tumblr.com
