BRITISH BEAUTY LOOKING FOR A GOOD HOME WITH ANOTHER TRIUMPH LOVER. BABIED since new, stored in controlled climate, very hard to find one of these Adventurers in this condition, it looks almost like a new bike. Retro 1970's classic Trident styling and traditional color, the Adventurer was only made for the USA market, a more laid back, chromed out, American styled version of the Thunderbird. Differences vs a T-bird are higher bars, longer forks, 19/16 inch front/rear wheels, bobtail rear fender, trumpet mufflers, and extensive chrome. The Adventurer model was SOLD OUT when new at dealerships. Only 9818 original certified miles! Absolutely beautiful, near perfect paint, seat, near flawless chrome head to toe, and very clean exhaust headers, spokes, rims, etc. Made in England from the highest quality European sourced parts. I've been riding the new Hinckley generation Triumphs for the last twenty years and highly recommend them. Easy handling, lightweight, very smooth and comfortable, with the unique Triumph triple sound and feel. The owner passed away and I recently finished bringing this beauty back to life with a new battery, fuel flush, thorough cleaning of the carbs, coolant flush, and new starter brushes. A couple years ago, at 8,000 miles, previous owner, a Triumph enthusiast, did a complete tuneup, including new coils, new plugs, new plug wires, K&N air filter, all three carbs rebuilt, gas tank creme coated inside, valves adjusted, fan override switch, and all California emissions removed (parts included) for better performance. That was easily over $1,000 worth of work. Also around that time new Metzeler Marathon tires which still have almost full tread, and new front and rear brakes, another $500. Chain and sprockets in very good condition. And I'm pleased to report, for those whom understand these 900 triples, no starter clutch sprag issue whatsoever. Extras are a genuine Triumph sissy bar ($300), genuine triumph windshield ($400) and hard real leather tool bag ($100). About the only flaw on this immaculate machine is a small windshield stress crack in bracket corner (pictured) not very noticeable. MSRP was $8,999 in 2001. Clear, clean, new 2017 Pennsylvania title in my name with 9758 certified miles on it, bike was originally from Florida. VIN numbers and mileage verified by notary. Accident free and never been down. The Adventurer model is becoming rare and very few nationwide are ever available in this pristine condition. They don't make them like this anymore! Its a keeper, the value is rising every year. Fly into Pittsburgh, I will pick you up at the airport, ride home anywhere USA. Feel free to use uShip. Anyone local is welcome to come see it in person. Its advertised locally so I reserve the right to cancel this auction at anytime. Mileage will increase slightly. For a PA resident I will gift the title tax free and save you some big bucks. If needed, I have a ramp to help you load into a truck or van. Also if you have a hitch on your vehicle, there is a Uhaul near me with motorcycle trailers for only $15 a day. GREAT BIKE, NO RESERVE, BID TO WIN. If you are SERIOUS about bidding, have the funds, can make a deposit in 24hrs, then pay in full and pick up in ten days, I am not opposed to lowering the starting price. Message me and I will consider it.
