The La Grange (Cook County) Illinois Police Department is offering the following vehicle for sale by auction: 2003 Silver Toyota RAV4 SUV 4 DOOR with 198,997 miles ATTENTION: THIS VEHICLE IS CURRENTLY IN NON-WORKING ORDER! Will Need To Be Towed!! This is a village-owned (seized and forfeited) vehicle and MUST be sold according to Illinois law; it MUST be sold in an auction-type setting such as eBay. There is NO Buy-It-Now option. We will NOT accept any trades for this vehicle-do not ask! The vehicle is being sold AS IS and with NO existing warranty; neither express nor implied. All sales are FINAL. NO price adjustments will be given. NO returns will be accepted. The vehicle will be sold to the highest bidder once the starting price has been satisfied. POSITIVES:1. The vehicle is a Toyota2. The vehicle has air conditioning3. The vehicle has cruise control4. The vehicle has a Ross stereo with CD player5. There is a spare tire cover in the back seat of the vehicle NEGATIVES:1. The vehicle does not start or drive2. The radiator is damaged from an accident3. There is crash damage on several parts of the vehicle4. The hood latch is broken5. The tires are flat and nearly bald6. There is a broken red reflector on the P/S rear7. The D/S visor is missing8. There is a spare tire, however, it is bald9. The vehicle is very dirty-will need to be detailed10. The vehicle will need brakes, oil change, and tune up11. The vehicle has been sitting for several years and, again, DOES NOT DRIVE12. The vehicle has been involved in three accidents that we know about Due to the vehicle being a seized/forfeited vehicle, we do not know a lot about it's past history or maintenance. Buyer Beware.
