2005 BMW F-Series - F650GS This is a really nice bike and I almost hate to sell it! Haled as one of the most reliable and top selling bike made by BMW. It handles and rides great, it’s truly enjoyable to go out and just ride! The only reason I am selling it is that I bought another bike and our riding season here is so short that I cannot justify the expense of having two bikes in the barn. It always started and ran great. Never in an accident. I have never had any trouble with it since I purchased it from a BMW dealer that got it back in trade from the one previous owner. Clean Vermont title. Vermont inspection sticker good thru August 2017. For a 2005, it's in very nice shape and is ready to enjoy and take you on many adventures. Extras I have added; Auxiliary Brake light strip above license plate.Stainless steel Pivot Pegz footpegs. They're much wider than the stock BMW pegs and work great. (Installed and wired but need to be hooked up)Body panel and engine guards.New higher visibility headlight bulb. Original BMW bulb included with auction.Hand crafted unique luggage system. Each of the cases outside diameters are approximately 19” x 15" x 7". They're easy to get on and take off. The top case is great for everyday use when you need a place to put extra items/gear. Also has a fuel/water bottle holder on the outside framework. The bags are Seahorse brand (like Pelican) waterproof impact resistant cases. I also made custom soft water-resistant shoulder bags to fit inside each side bag so you do not have to remove the hard case to pack or when you have to carry your gear when checking into a hotel on a trip. The hard luggage bags can be locked and when on the bike and locked cannot be removed. The framework was rubber coated and looks a bit rough. The rack can be taken off, and all the original screws are included. Battery tender plug attached to the battery to allow a Battery Tender to be used without requiring removal of the tank body panels. An easily accessible “hot” wire in the unforeseen event you might need a jump.Custom made black vinyl seat cover. The original BMW orange coloured one is under it if you prefer, the black one can be taken off by removing the staples that attach it to the seat pan.Other Points;Mounted with Continental Conti Escape tires. They have barely 1,000 miles on them. Tread is excellent but they have cracks on the sidewalls.Minor normal wear scuffs on tank and here and there. Some also on front fender beak, and rear panel, by the gas cap (as shown in photos).Clutch lever break (from a tip over) and repair (as shown in photos). It works fine and a new lever us included in case you have any trouble and need to replace it.Extras included, new clutch lever, new air filter, 3 quarts BMW undiluted antifreeze, 1-1/4 +/- quarts BMW engine oil, gaskets, spare original screws, signal light lens and other miscellaneous parts.
