Vehicle Detail
Titled as a 1919 Ford Model “T” with extensive "Brass era" additionsI could give a glowing account of this car with lots of superlatives, I think the photos definitely tell the story better than I could. Enjoy!!I have more photos, just ask. This Classic Speedster has it all: Starts easily with 6 volt electronics. Drives and shifts smoothly. Has what I believe to be a higher ratio rear end (car is faster than average “T”). Extensive pinstriping. Very nice paint on entire car with very few blemishes. Dropped front axel Z’d rear frame. Rocky Mt brakes connected to brake pedal Rootlieb Speedster kit Great “Leather” seats 21” Model “A” Wire wheels including spare. New Texas T distributor New Horn Bulb New water outlet New Slow speed connector New electric (toggle sw) controlled fuel shut off valve New 6 volt battery New fan belt Recent band replacement. Rebuilt Carburetor Brass E&J headlights (no burners). Brass E&J side lights Brass E&J tail light wired for electric brake light. Brass Monocle wind screen Brass trim on firewall. Brass step plates Brass Rubes horn (very rare) with hose extension. Brass ”FORD” insignia on gas tank sides. Brass straps on gas tank.. Brass Radiator. Brass “Boyce” Motometer. Brass fuel filler and cap on gas tank. Brass hub caps. Originally Built by Riker Motors of Whittier California in early 80’s Emergency brake adjusted. Bands adjusted. No key (uses toggle sw to start.), Some paint scuffing and scrapes on pedals and brake lever. This is probably an incomplete list of what’s on this car, my addled mind does not recall as acutely as it once did. A Video will be added soon. Please check out my feedback, I have sold a large part of my collection and EVERY BUYER has had a geed experience and loved their new possession. On May-07-17 at 11:39:20 PDT, seller added the following information: Forgot to mention, tail light is wired as a brake light only. Headlight and side lights are not wired and headlights do not have burners installed. I would recommend getting a conversion kit from one of the venders, Chaffin garage has them I think.
