Overview: Selling my 2007 Aston Martin V8 Vantage in this no reserve auction. Haven't had as much time to drive as I had hoped, and we have another child on the way. So unfortunately a minivan is in our future, and I need to make room in the garage. I am the second owner of this beautiful Vantage. The prior owner bought the car in Texas and later moved to Florida. I bought the car last year, and it has never seen snow. It is accident free, and not tracked. The Aston has worn a clear bra for most of its life, keeping the black paint in great condition. Leather wear is commensurate with a vehicle of this age, without sign of warping on the dash. Vehicle has clean title and no loan, so I can sign title over immediately after payment is confirmed. Service: Complete service records (available to view here), along with owner's manual and both sets of keys are included. The vehicle was just recently serviced at the end of March. I have cured many of the common nits associated with the vehicle. The navigation system has the replaced gears (to ensure proper opening and closing), both door and trunk struts have been replaced (ensuring doors and trunk stay open), the gear oil has just been replaced with OEM fluid, and the updated accessory drive belt and idler pulley were installed (to prevent belt chirping at idle). When I bought the vehicle last year, it was inspected for the timing cover oil leak, and there were no problems or leaks. The car has the original clutch, which is not slipping. At 34,676 miles the front tires had good tread (8mm outside, 7mm center, 8mm inside) and rear tires still had some life (5mm outside, 6mm center, 5mm inside). Front brake pads were at 6mm and rears were at 4mm. Upgrades/Options: The car is original except for its wearing upgraded wheels from the DB9, the radio antenna was replaced with a short version from MIN, and the map lights were replaced with bright LEDs. It has also been hard wired to power an Escort Passport radar detector at the review mirror. I have noticed some condensation inside left taillamp if hit with direct water during washing. The front splitter and bumper has some road rash when viewed from below (see last photo). The leather has some loosening on the center armrest (see photo 10). The steering wheel volume buttons seem to work intermittently. None of these issues have been noticeable or bothered me with the car, but just wanted to make you aware of what I haven noticed. The vehicle has driven beautifully and never given me any problems. Form the service records you will also so there have not been any major issues and no engine problems.
