Vehicle Detail
I am selling my real deal 1969 Z28 with original numbers matching DZ302 engine and Muncie transmission. I have owned it for over 17 years. Originally it was Rallye Green. It was painted LeMans Blue back in the early 90s before I bought it. I drive it to work on nice days during the spring, summer and fall. It is in excellent running and driving condition. It has the original 12 bolt posi rear with 4.10 gears. The trim tag decodes as follows: Built 4th week of March 1969 in Norwood (Cincinnati) Ohio711 - Black standard Interior79 79 - Rallye Green (original paint color)X33 - Style Trim Group with Special Performance Equipment (Z28) The car is mostly original with a few modifications (headers, battery, paint, stereo)My mechanic added roller rockers and the original valve covers did not fit so new ones were installed. The original valve covers will come with the car and you can replace the rockers and install them. The original carburetor also comes with the car. It has been rebuilt and is ready to be installed. I also am including the original distributor. I had an MSD put on the car back around 1999. The worn original upholstery was professionally redone in the original color back around 2001. Interested buyers should call Curt, (509) 713-2878, with questions prior to bidding on the car. I would prefer that you come and inspect it before the auction ends. This car is a driver and has some minor flaws. Those that I know of are:Some paint nicks. There is one on the spoiler and one on the drivers door. The center console has a small piece chipped out.The car has some minor rust. It is 47 years old.The original radio is gone and the dash was cut behind the aftermarket stereo (I was a dumb kid when I purchased the car some almost 20 years ago and am very sorry about this)The clock doesn't work. It can move but stays where it is put. Its currently set at 5pm :) Overall this car is in excellent condition and runs beautifully. It can and should be driven. If someone wanted to do a full restoration I am sure the car could bring HUGE money at one the big auctions. This is a real legendary 1969 Camaro Z28.
