RAIN WATER DID GET ON TO THE VERY BOTTOM OF THE CARPET FOAM. OUR SHOP REMOVED THE ENTIRE INTERIOR . THE CARPETS WERE CLEANED AND DRIED AND THEN REINSTALLED. THERE IS NOTHING UNDER THE CARPET SO THERE WAS NO CHANCE OF ELECTRICAL DAMAGE. ALL FLUIDS WERE CHANGED AS A PRECAUTION INCLUDING OIL,TRANSMISSION,BRAKE,REAR END,AND COOLANT. NO WATER INTRUSION WAS NOTED. OUR SHOP FOREMAN HAS BEEN ENJOYING THIS CRAZY FAST CAR FOR A FEW HUNDRED MILES AND NOTED NO ISSUES EXCEPT THAT HE WANTS TO OWN IT.THIS CAR LOOKS RUNS AND DRIVES LIKE NEW. PLEASE NOTE THAT INSURANCE COMPANIES DO NOT HAVE THE RESOURCES TO PROPERLY INSPECT THESE WATER DAMAGED UNITS SO THEY AUTOMATICALLY WRITE THEM OFF.
