Great runner! 400 cu in engine, 3 speed auto Jetaway transmission with T-bar shifter and center console tachometer. Everything is OEM or I have saved the original part (fuel pump, for example) when I could. Original hubs, floor mats, etc, it even has all of the chrome trim and letters. I have replaced the shocks, springs, and all non-metal lines and hoses and normal stuff (starter, water pump, fuel pump, etc). Rochester carb was rebuilt and all fuel lines from gas tank to carb were replaced. Interior is original and needs some work. Trunk pan is rusted but floor pans seem solid. Apparently 65's had a problem with trunk pans because they had vinyl mats and no drain plugs. You can see in the pics that the rust followed the trunk mat while the sides are clean. I have recent pictures of the underside if you are interested. I pulled the head to replace valves and springs, but the shop said that it didn't need it. He ground the valves anyway and blasted, baked, and repainted the head to clean it, but he said it was in great shape. It has been in my family since 1967 (grandpa, grandma, me), so I am familiar with the history. For example, it has only every had unleaded gas in it, so do NOT put in any lead additive! Original color was midnight blue but was painted white when that faded. Basically, it's a great runner that needs restored, and I do not have the time or space. No cutters please, I would prefer someone who will respect and restore. All the road legal stuff works (lights, blinkers, brakes lights, horn, etc.) and when run regularly it starts first time, every time.
