I am selling my 2007 ford focus ZX3. I will be adding a link for a you tube video soon. First off I do my very best to make my ebay adds as clear and truthful as possible. Please read all of the ebay add carefully because I do not want anybody to buy the car and not get exactly what they are expecting. The best thing would be for the person to come look at the car and take it for a ride and look it over in person. I understand most of you will be to far away to come see it. But if you are close enough I always think looking a car over in person is the best thing to do. Feel free to ask me any questions you want. I will do my very best to answer them in a timely manner. OK here goes. I purchased this car in 2011 it had just about 9,000.00 miles on it and was just like new. I used the car to get back and forth to work only. Work was 28 miles 1 way so 56 miles a day 5 days a week almost completely on the highway. In 2014 I was hurt at work and have been on workman comp since that date. So the car has been sitting in the garage and I just drove my pickup when I needed to go anywhere. But I did keep it up while it has been sitting I would start it once or twice a week pull it out of the garage. The car has 81074 now there is a small amount of rust starting on the bottom of the doors. I tried to get good photos of it. And I think I got it pretty good in the video. So look at all the pictures and the video good. The battery is about 7 months old and the tiers have about 15,000 miles on them they have lots of life left on them. The car gets about 34 mpg on the hwy. Its a 4 cyl 5 speed manual trans. The clutch still works well. Engine always starts rite up. I replaced the front right bearing about 3 years ago and it might be starting to go again because when its a little cold out you can here a bit of clicking when you turn the wheel hard to the left. I think I bought a set when I changed it and only used 1 of them so I will try and find the other new one and include it with the car. Other things that are wrong on the car are. When you drive the car in a quiet area a bumpy rd you may hear a squeak coming from the back right side of the car. The guy at the oil place told me it needed back shocks. The only other thing I know of that is wrong with the car is since it has been sitting allot lately is that I always put the emergency brake on and when it sits a month or so without moving the back breaks freeze up, So the way it is now the brakes work fine but the back ones are scraping until you drive it a few miles I think if you drove the car at least 1 time a week the brakes would be fine. One last thing is that the car has a auto start feature but be aware when I had that put in they had to disconnect the switch that makes the car stop from turning over unless the clutch is pushed in. Therefore you must remember if the car is in gear and you turn it over without the clutch pushed in. The car will still try and start so it will move forward while it is cranking so please remember that and be careful. In all the time I drove that car back and forth to work it never let me down it always got me to work on time and always got me home. So to sum it up the car runs good probably will need some regular maintenance squeak in rear shock, click in front right when it is cold outside and you turn the car sharp, Rear brakes make noise when not driven for a while, and so on. It gets great gas millage which you know will come in handy because as sure as the sun will rise gas prices will go up at some point. The car is a S model which means it was a striped down version of the car No air conditioning No automatic no power seats or windows really the only option the car has is dual air bags. AM FM CD player. Rear defroster I mean that's about it strictly a good transportation car. I am starting the bidding on the car Low. And am selling it with no reserve so if somebody makes the first bid it will sell. The car is actually quite cool it is the last of the ZX 3 cars meaning is is a sport 3 door the 2 regular doors and a hatch door. If I am rite the focus no longer has a hatchback. It is a good car to scoot around town in and its fun to drive so that's about it. Good luck bidding.
