Up for auction is this fairly rare 1928 Chrysler rumble seat roadster. It is a series 62 model which is next up from the smallest. It has the red head 6 cyl engine with manual trans. Same owner for many years as it under went an amateur restoration. The gentleman who owned it passed away at the age of 82 and a friend of mine was able to acquire it. He finished attaching a few items, got it running and driving . I am sure it will need to be fine tuned and a little tweaking here and there. Motor sounds good .Clutch feels great, transmission shifts fine. In looking the car over the body appears to be in very nice condition good and straight . Doesn't appear to of had any rust or repair work. Underside is good and solid also. Looks to be a new convertible top. Upholstery and rugs have been done also. Fairly new tires. Hydraulic brakes have been gone through also. Most of the chrome has been done. Has wind wings and working Chrysler motor meter. Sort of an unusual roadster that you don't see many of . Great car to take to the next level as an original or dare I say make a gentleman hot rod out of it. You make the call. We are willing to register the vehicle should you need a title in your state.
