              1984 VW Rabbit GTi Royal Red Original Paint All Original Time Capsule                           Available today is a very cool, all original, unrestored 1984 VW Rabbit GTi.  If you owned one of these back in the 80’s, it’s time to re-live the good ‘ol days.  This GTi is being offered in it’s original form (flaws and all).  It’s got a great vintage patina that you just can’t duplicate.  It is not a concours/pristine car with perfect paint but it is a great driving car with original motor, interior, paint etc.  It is original only once and this VW is still original and unrestored.   The car has approx. 58k miles on the working odometer with a Federal sticker/disclaimer on the drivers door jamb to indicate odometer was changed at 68,199 miles on 9/26/91.  VIN # is 1VWDC0175EV011040. Car looks great with it’s original royal red paint with midnight blue cloth upholstery. As stated, the car is original with all the flaws and charm that that includes.  The clear coat has peeled off on much of the hood and roof.  Gives it a real urban/vintage feel.  Be sure to inspect pictures carefully to fully understand the condition or better yet, schedule an in-person inspection.  This can be done by you or your representative. This is a very solid car, with a 1 inch by 1 inch surface rust spot on the right fender behind the wheel being the only rust found.  There are clear pictures of this area in the pictures section as well as many underside pictures.
