This 1979 CB750-K is a beautiful example of a one-year-only configuration which makes it very special among collectors and enthusiasts. 1979 was the first year with this dual-overhead cam engine which has more performance with less maintenance requirements when compared with the SOHC models. Along with this came electronic ignition, better handling, and numerous other improvements discussed ad-nauseam elsewhere. If you go into 1980 models and beyond, you loose out on the classic chrome-spoked wheels and the sleek duck-tail rear cowl behind the seat. Later models also have more of a cruiser physique. These 1979 "K" models are the perfect sweet spot in between, blending performance and styling. Featured on this bike is the original tank with matching bodywork which looks superb - the OEM color is called Candy Muse red.
