1987 Ford F250 4x4 351 cu in. Auto trans, 74,000 original miles as documented on title from original owner, 8 foot bed, the original owner, a neighbor, bought the truck brand new and used it just for camping, as it had a slide in camper in back of bed, stayed covered in portable style garage and used only in the summer, other than some surface rust the only issue is with the radiator support there is some rust there , it is totally usable and does not affect the usage but if you wanted to restored condition it would need to be replaced, the owner started restoring this truck, with new base clear coat original ford colors although the blue was lightened up to another ford original color rather than the dark blue, there are two new gas tanks and sending units as well as a new fuel pump, new gas tank selector valve and switch, carb was completely refurbished to new by custom carbs in jersey, the interior is in very good original condition, no tears...the bed is in very good rust free condition, the truck is in very good over all condition and adult owned and maintained. still little things need to be done, tire are good but could use to be replaced in the future, have the original hub caps, the front grille and head lights are new, have the originals in bed, the smog pumps have been deleted but have the entire original smog set up for the original minded person in a box in the bed. truck has 4x4 and A/C. I may have left something out, but for the most part covered most everything, feel free to call and ask any questions, there are not to many original unmolested trucks like this one owner truck, doors open and close smoothly, gaps are excellent as the doors, hood and panels have never been replaced or taken apart. please note I'm selling at no reserve but also reserve the right to cancel auction at any time, as I have the vehicle is for sale locally. I have many cars and trucks in my personal collection and I am getting older and priorities are changing so I'm selling off most of the collection, the title and vehicle will not be released till the funds clear, don't mean to be frank but I'm trying to weed out the non serious people, Note: the vehicle is being relisted as two things have come up, I had noticed that after the vehicle had been sitting for an extended period that there is an leak between trans and motor, just a drip when running but leaking non the less so I want to be up front and honest about the vehicle, also the gas gauge was working when the new sender units were installed but after sitting I noticed the gauge is reading empty and I know both 19 gallon tanks are full, after I advised and discussed with winning bidder we agreed to pass and let each other out of the deal as I would not let it go for what he offered, so I am relisting, I have had many requests for a buy it now price, I have it listed at a no reserve auction but $7500 is what its listed for locally. if that gives you an idea of what I'm looking for, thanks john 73two 50zero 812zero On Mar-21-17 at 15:26:45 PDT, seller added the following information: forgot to add this; someone asked about the brakes. the brakes are all done new. both rotors, calipers, pads, rubber hoses and front lines to proportioning valve as well as the rear shoes and wheel cylinders are all new, truck stops perfectly.
