This motorcycle has been in storage since 2003 when a weak battery ended the life of the starter. Fuel was drained out of tank and carburetors. The bike was covered up and forgotten until I came across it 13 years later. I have always loved 1970's and 1980's motorcycles. To come across a beautiful 1979 CBX was like finding the ultimate motorcycle. I got the bike home, cleaned it up and bought a new Ricks starter for it, checked the fuel tank and one carb bowl out. Everything looked clean. Installed battery, (which is not included with bike) primed carbs and bike fired up. I do have a video of the bike running. Of course the bike is going to need brakes rebuilt, and tires, and I would assume a carb rebuild. I would love to keep this motorcycle but I don't have the revenue that this bike needs to make it what it should be. I've included a good amount of pictures.
