Vehicle Detail
I am selling my 2005 Mercedes-Benz E320 CDI Sedan. I absolutely hate to sell this car, but my wife wanted to get a SUV. We have owned the car for 5 years and purchased it with approximately 84k miles. I am a Master Mercedes-Benz mechanic so this car has always had the highest level of service and quality OEM parts. These vehicles has such a powerful engine and the fuel mileage is awesome for this size of the vehicle. It will easily get high 30's MPH on the highway and I have even seen in the low 40's. I have always used OEM filters and Mobil 1 full synthetic oil during the services. This vehicle is ready to go and hit the road. In the last month I have gotten the car completely serviced plus replaced some other parts. Engine oil and filter serviced. New fuel and air filters. All fuel hoses underneath hood, engine mounts, transmission mount, front brake pads and rotors, brake fluid flush, transmission service, rear coil springs, coolant flush, thermostat, cabin filter, differential service, and power steering fluid flush. Other repairs that have been performed in the last couple years include: rear brake pads and rotors, lower ball joints, upper ball joints, both front lower thrust arms, removed injectors and installed new copper combustion sealing gaskets plus new injector hold down bolts and MB wipers. I have also used Stanadyne Performance Formula fuel additive every fill up and ran Stanadyne Diesel Fuel System cleaner twice per year. I have done nothing with the glow plugs or glow plug module in the five years that I have owned the car. The dash is free of service and warning lights. The car does not have a block heater installed. We live in Wisconsin and get some pretty cold winters. This car has never left my wife stranded in the cold with temperatures below zero degrees F. Believe me, I would have heard about it! Car has some really awesome options that are not in most CDI models. Some options include: heated/cooled seats, dynamic massaging front seats, heated wood grain steering wheel, rear sunshades that come out of the rear passenger doors, 6 disc CD changer, Navigation (do not have updated NAV cd). Aftermarket HID Headlights and LED license plate bulbs also enhance the look. Vehicle is being sold with 16' aftermarket aluminum wheels with Michelin Alpine Snow Tires. I sold the factory 16" wheels long ago because the factory clear coat was peeling off. Snow tires have decent tread, but if you run them the rest of the summer I am sure they will need to be replaced next year. I had a set of E500 5 spoke wheels with summer tires on the car during the summer months, but they are not included with the sale since I will be using them on my new vehicle for winter tires. Selling the car with the original carpet mats that I have never used and the all season rubber mats that I have only used since I have owned this car. This car has never been equipped with any performance device or any emission delete modifications. Car is stock and will continue to perform amazing every single day in the future. I personally know of two other E320 CDI's that have over 400K miles on them. This car has plenty of life to go. Here are the know blemishes with the car: Front bumper cover lower right is cracked from hitting a frozen snow bank. I have plastic welded the back/inside of the plastic so the crack doesn't spread any further. (see photo) I had an estimate to have it repaired by a company in town that specializes in these types of repairs for $350. Scuff on impact strip on LF (see photo). Scratch close to RR door (see photo) May buff out, not sure. Center console had raised bubble in leather (see photo). Two cracks in wood steering wheel (see photos). Cracks in driver and passenger door wood grain (see photo) Left "B" pillar has tear in fabric from getting in and out of the car (see photo). Like I said, I hate to sell it, but just not in the market for 3 cars right now. This is honestly one of the most desirable Mercedes-Benz diesel powered vehicles available. Please feel free to ask any questions that you may have and good luck to the highest bidder. I do have some more photos, but was only able to load 24. Let me know if you would like to see the other ones that I have. I have a Buy It Now set and I am offering free shipping if the Buy It Now is used. Any winning bids other than the Buy It Now option, the winner is responsible for shipping. Shipping only to lower 48 states.
