1970 cadillac deville,49,000 actual miles,had been searching for this car for years,finally found it,car was original paint,good original leather,nice door panels,dash,beautiful original red carpet and floor mats,bought car 2 years ago,took to body shop ,agreed on price to replace fenders,remove trim,repair and repaint car ,wrote a check for 5000.00 to start repairs,finally 1 year later car was ready for paint,bought new top ,pads,cables,deville scripts,rubber seals for top and any thing else i found to upgrade ,cant remember everything but it is inside car with this sale,anyway they repainted car WRONG SHADE OF RED,i was furious after 1 year,they sanded again and next thing i hear is shop closed,OUT OF BUSINESS,took 1 year to get car back and needless to say im done with this ordeal,car runs and drives well,ac blows cool,not ice cold but cant get r-12 so conversion is necessary,i would say fly in drive home but not in february because top needs replaced,,also car tires are shot from age,still has 1 original tire on it,my loss will be your oportunity to afford a rare caddy convt.if your willing to repaint and install trim,alot less work then when i started.
