Vehicle Detail

1970 TRIUMPH BONNEVILLE T120R To many, this is arguably the most popular year for the Bonneville line. As well as the last of the standard framed Triumph's before the introduction of the "oil-in-frame" in 1971. Beautiful motorcycle, completely taken down and restored a few years ago and used for aesthetic display. Every nut and bolt is new. Clear (1970 Triumph T120R Bonneville) Indiana titled to me. Frame #s: JD58027 T120R (title matches frame) Engine #'s: DU27629 T120R (obviously non #'s matching) A friend of mine used this as his "retirement project" 16 years ago. Spent countless hours working on it and polishing it. Pictures say it all with great attention to detail with this machine. Frame, brake drums, fork legs and hardware all powder coated. Tank and fenders are painted proper Don Hutchinson Astral red and Silver. Boyer ignition system makes this bike start on the first kick. Runs, shifts, stops and rides great! Everything is either brand new, NOS or new reproduction. EVERYTHING WORKS EXCELLENT. All lights, gauges, horn and so on. New "repop" gauges installed when completed. 589 miles clocked since finished. I do have the original SMITHS Speedometer for the bike included, but no tachometer. ENGINE: Current milage is: 598 since rebuild This was a low milage T120R engine prior to rebuild (top end), +.030 bore w/ Emgo pistons. Extensive head work. All new valves, guides, springs and so on. BRAND NEW Amal 930 carbs. NOT rebuilt... NEW. New clutch was installed also. Shown in one image, there was a small, hard to see repair done to the inner primary where a chain had slapped it. Again, hard to see but noteworthy. Starts with (1) kick even stone cold, every time. I have ridden this motorcycle up and down the highway a few times. I have found it to be very sound and POWERFUL. Of course there are a few random oil drips from down under. Typical. Clear Indiana title in hand, in my name. The new owner will be proud to show this one. Cheers. Rules for buying: Shipping: Shipping costs are the buyers responsibility but I will work out the details with your shipper to load the bike up. I highly recommend Haulbikes.com and Keyboard Transports 100%. Bike is sold "As Is" and "Where Is". No warranty expressed or implied obviously BUT if you are in the area you are welcome and encouraged to come and physically inspect it anytime you like. I'm not an expert on these things so PLEASE ask anything anytime. I'm happy to answer. Nothing to hide here. Paying: 1) CASH IN HAND IS KING and I prefer handshake, FACE-TO-FACE transactions. 2) BANK TO BANK WIRE 3) CASHIERS' CHECKS PAYPAL IS NOT PREFERRED! I DO NOT LIKE PAYPAL AND I THINK THEIR FEES ARE OUTRAGEOUS! HOWEVER IF YOU WANT TO USE PAYPAL,YOU WILL HAVE TO BE LIABLE FOR THE EXTRA FEES. SORRY...BUT IT'S JUST RIDICULOUS WHAT THEY CHARGE FOR BASICALLY DOING NOTHING.
