Thanks for taking a look at a Ford 1978 Mustang II Base 2 Door Coupe! Has approx. 145000 on Body. Engine and Transmission replaced at 85000 by previous owner. Engine is the base 302 cid 150hp. de-tuned just for the great wave of emissions control of the late Seventy's. 2bbl Motorcraft 2100, Runs well on the low end, but has factory cam to reduce output for better emissions. Tires have approx. 800 miles on them. Off engine oil filter. Front sway bar was replaced with a P.S.T. 7/8th bar and Moog bushings. P/S has factory fluid cooler. Northern Performance 18" electric radiator fan controlled from drivers position. Sun 1 1/2 inch trans pressure gauge, volts, oil connector temp. , Sun 2" vacuum gauge and Equus 2" oil pressure gauge (mech). Speedo, Tach, Engine temp and Alt. gauges work. HiBeam light works. All brake, turn, headlight (Sylvania Halogen w/ceramic connectors) Trans selector, dashboard and running lights work. Grant 14" 3 spoke steering wheel. I've added a red oil pressure dash lights (see photo). There is no hood prop rod. inside hood release handle does work, but is missing the 'T'. Glove box door works, no glove box. Center console closes, pad has deteriorated. Dashboard is cracked, covered with Dashmat. Red Front Leather bucket seats, rear seats are red cloth. There is no headliner, but have headliner rods and window trim. Passenger window crank needs to be rebuilt, drivers is not much better. Has newer black floor carpeting. 2sp wipers and windshield washer work well. The rear leaf springs are original, so I've included a set of 'Mustangs Unlimited 5 Leaf Rear Replacement Springs' and Bushings and new Shackles also from 'Mustangs Unlimited'. Complete set (7) 1978 Ford Service Manuals including the Complete Electrical Schematic. Book. Some city's require a smog pump, I am including one along with it's bracket and plumbing. It has dual exhaust with catalytic converters (less than 1000 miles) Ford 14 inch 4 bolt standard steel rims and a 'save a spare'. There isn't a jack but I've included a 4 way lug wrench. Seat belts were replaced with New TRW seat belts less than 1000 miles ago. Question about the amber 'beehive' clearance light in one of the photos of the front of the Mustang. It is a Competition Engineering Roll Bar specific to the Mustang II coupe. Question about the vinyl top trim on the roof support, the Mustang did have a full White Vinyl Top. It was rotten when I received it from the previous owner. I left the vinyl top Trim in place. The original color is Ford's 'Bright Red' (2R). All of the 'glass' in good condition. I have the rear bumper black trim insert.
