LOOKING FOR THAT NICE SIERRA THAT WONT BREAK THE BANK? WELL, STOP THE SEARCH BECAUSE HERE IT IS!! I PICKED THIS UP A FEW MONTHS AGO AS A TOTAL LOSS FROM STATE FARM INSURANCE FOR A CLAIM OF WATER DAMAGE AFTER THOSE MASSIVE RAIN STORMS THAT HIT LOUISIANA BACK IN AUGUST. I STILL TO THIS DAY AM NOT SURE WHAT GOT DAMAGED B/C THIS TRUCK HAD ZERO WATER INTRUSION OR MECHANICAL DAMAGE AS A RESULT OF WATER. THIS IS THE 44TH TRUCK I HAVE BOUGHT OUT OF THIS STORM OF THIS NATURE AND HAVE FOUND THAT AS SOON AS THIS AREA WAS DECLARED A NATURAL DISASTER AREA BY FEMA, THAT THE LEVEL OF EVIDENCE NEEDED TO DECLARE TOTAL LOSS DROPPED TO ALMOST NOTHING DUE TO THE INSURANCE COMPANIES BEING REIMBURSED A LARGE PERCENTAGE BY THE FEDERAL GOVT. I WAS TOLD THAT IF AN ADJUSTER COULD FIND THAT WATER HIT THE BRAKE ROTORS, TOTAL IT AND MOVE ON.....I KNOW, THATS INCREDIBLY LOW! I EVEN INCLUDED THE ORIGINAL PICS FROM THE AUCTION SO YOU CAN SEE THIS CAR WAS NOT HURT- HOW MANY SELLERS/REBUILDERS DO YOU KNOW THAT WILL DO THAT!!! THIS TRUCK IS PRICED TO SELL! 99%+ OF MY AUCTIONS NEVER MAKE IT TO THE END AND CAN BE ENDED AT ANYTIME WITH A REASONABLE OFFER. ALL THE BODY LINES MATCH UP PERFECTLY. THE BODY IS FREE FROM ANY COLLISION DAMAGE AND THE ONLY COSMETIC DAMAGE DAMAGE WORTH MENTIONING IS A SMALL DENT ON THE WHEEL LIP OF THE RIGHT REAR THAT A PAINTLESS DENT GUY BEGAN TO FIX. I WILL TRY TO HAVE THIS REPAIR COMPLETED BEFORE BUYER PICKS IT UP. DOOR DINGS- YOU WILL HAVE TO HUNT TO FIND THE FIRST ONE! THE PAINT HAS BEEN VERIFIED WITH A DIGITAL THICKNESS METER TO BE 100% ORIGINAL. IT HAS A VERY DEEP LUSTER AND NOTHING SHORT OF GREAT WITH NEXT TO NO FLAWS. THE BODY AS WELL AS THE PAINT IS FREE FROM MAJOR SCRATCHES AND THE ONE OR TWO ROCK CHIPS THAT ARE PRESENT (SEE PICS) HAVE BEEN PROFESSIONALLY TOUCHED UP AND BUFFED DOWN. THE TRUCK WAS PURCHASED AT THE AUCTION ON A SET OF SPARES, HOWEVER ONCE WE DETERMINED WHAT ORIGINALLY CAME ON IT, WE ADDED A SET OF MACHINE FINISHED 20" ALUM WHEELS WRAPPED IN A SET OF 275-55-20 GOODYEAR LS2 EAGLE TIRES. THEY HAVE APPROX 70% ON THE FRONT AND 45-50% ON THE REAR. THEY ARE WEARING EVENLY AND SMOOTHLY AND HAVE NO UNUSUAL ROAD NOISE. THE ORIGINAL WINDSHIELD IS IN PERFECT CONDITION AS IT IS BRAND NEW. INTERIOR: IS JUST AS PERFECT AS THE EXTERIOR.THIS IS THE SLE PKG THAT GMC OFFERS AND HAS ALL THE STANDARD POWER FEATURES YOU WOULD EXPECT. THE CLOTH INTERIOR LOOKS NOTHING SHORT OF GREAT. THERE ARE NO RIPS OR TEARS, NO STAINS IN THE CARPETS, NO FRENCH FRIES UNDER THE SEATS AND NO FUNKY ODORS OF ANY KIND. THE PREVIOUS OWNER WAS A NON-SMOKER AND THERE ARE NO BURNS IN ANYTHING ANYWHERE! ALL THE ELECTRONICS AND POWER FEATURES WORK PERFECTLY. THE A/C IS ICE COLD AND THE HEATER IS TOASTY WARM. THE STEREO SYSTEM SOUNDS CRISP AND CLEAN AND LETS YOU LISTEN TO YOUR FAVORITE SONG AS LOUD AS YOU WANT! MECHANICALLY: THIS SIERRA IS PERFECT. ALL MECHANICAL ASPECTS HAVE BEEN INSPECTED AND RECEIVED NOTHING SHORT OF OF TWO THUMBS UP! ALL FLUIDS HAVE BEEN CHECKED AN TOPPED OFF AS NEEDED. THERE IS NO LEAKS OR DRIPS ANYWHERE AND THE BOTTOMSIDE LOOKS LIKE NEW! THIS SIERRA DRIVES JUST LIKE ITS SUPPOSED TO. IT HAS A VERY TIGHT FEEL AND HAS NO WEIRD VIBRATIONS, SHAKES OR RATTLES OF ANY KIND. IT TRACKS DOWN THE ROAD STRAIGHT LIKE IT SHOULD AND IS READY FOR THE DRIVE HOME! THE 5.3 VORTEC V8 ENGINE STARTS WITH EASE IN THE MORNINGS AND RUNS PERFECT. THE ENGINE LEAPS AT THROTTLE AND THE 4SP AUTO TRANSMISSION SHIFTS JUST LIKE IT SHOULD. TITLE: THIS TRUCK PASSED A SALVAGE INSPECTION AND THE TITLE WAS SENT OFF TO THE STATE FOR THE ISSUANCE OF THE REBUILT TITLE.
