For Sale in Fort Worth Texas is the gorgeous Red GTO convertible. Pontiac Historic Services can confirm this and most other vintage Pontiacs, We have the original build sheet and PHS DOCUMENTATION. This car has won #1 and #2 at local car shows. Everywhere I drive this car I get many Thumbs up or people wanting to talk about it. Its Beautiful inside and out. This car was been in the same family since 1973. I purchased it last year and have enjoyed it but need the cash for another investment. It's been well cared for. The last owner spent 75K to restore it 8 years ago. It is not an original tripower car and does include the original intake, carb, and aircleaner. All documentation, pictures from restoration, receipts, manuals, and historical service paperwork are included in sale. It includes but not installed convertible boot, original style aftermarket valve covers, 380Hp cam, lifters, gasket set and original 3 carb air cleaners. Other misc. parts also included. This car sounds Awesome!! It runs, drives, stops, turns, doors close, hood/tuck close, power convertible top open/closes, beautiful. The drive-train, brakes, suspension, have been rebuilt. The restoration was completed with NOS or GM licensed re-manufactured parts. I drive the car regularly and I can trust it with my kids in it. They love being dropped off at school in this car. I am not a professional salesman and I am sure I'm forgetting plenty. I welcome 3rdparty inspectors or inspect in person. No joyriders please. This is a solid car. The reserve is thousands less that other similar cars. As of Feb 2nd the reserve is almost met. My loss is your gain. Now let me answer some questions about this car. 1. It is not a clone. It is an original GTO with the Vin 24267P2982**. It is one of 12,798 convertible GTO's produced. 2. The 389 is a Non Matching Numbers 66 motor that has been professionally rebuilt and runs perfect. I have driven this car on several long drives including 2 trips to Austin Texas from Fort Worth. 3. The paint looks beautiful but does have 3 tiny chips on the drivers door edge from hitting the garage wall. 4. It has a new stock/quiet exhaust. 5. No driving issues and all the lights work. 6. There have been 3 separate inspectors/appraisers value the car between 48-55K. One from a buyer and two insurers which include Hagerty and USAA. 7. Convertibles tend to have door closing issues, this car does not. The doors open and close like new. 8. I have had problems trying to email pictures through ebay.
